Kat was originally a trained musician, and came came back onto the mat five years ago during a deep depression, and left feeling glittery. In 2015 she trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa in Bali, and come home with more energy, balance and passion than ever. She is recently home from India where she studied Yin and Mandala Vinyasa, fell out a few trees, and spent a lot of time playing guitar and singing.
Her classes have an emphasis on each practitioner finding what feels best for them – their ‘sweet spot’. She is nurturing and compassionate, and believes strongly in practicing with a playful and open heart. She is inspired by her own teachers Mathieu Boldron, Jamie Clarke and Dulce Aguilar, as well as wild flowers, forests, oceans, Bob Dylan and Bjork.

Mandala Vinyasa has roots in Shamanism; with a flow and focus for each element, it uses all four directions of the compass. We begin and end in deep Yin stretches, and flow around the mat. Mandala is challenging, graceful and deeply soothing.
