Gillian Evans

Gillian has been practising yoga for over twenty years. She leads yoga classes in London and Manchester.

Gillian teaches breath work, meditation and physical postures with a focus on the slow and safe development of strength, flexibility, stamina and deep relaxation. Trained by Anna Ashby and Joey Miles in the alignment-based method of hatha yoga, Gillian guides students through 90-minute classes that conquer fatigue, cultivate good posture, improve mood and increase body and mind awareness.

Welcome to the weekend - a slow flow class to revitalise and de-stress at the end of the week. This is a strong, but slow and safe class introducing and breaking down breath work, sun salutations and standing and seated postures for beginners as well as more experienced students.

This is a strong and energizing, but slow and safe class introducing and breaking down sun salutations and standing postures for beginners as well as more experienced students. All levels are welcome. There is plenty of time for a proper wind-down at the end of class, coming down to earth with seated postures, breath work and deep relaxation, so that everyone leaves class feeling centred, calm and energised.
