Em has been a lover of yoga for over 10 years. A keen runner, swimmer and occasional triathlete, Em started yoga to help with sports rehabilitation, but quickly found it beneficial for reducing stress in a busy office job (as well as for dealing with life’s challenges in general!).
Keen to share her love of yoga with others, Em enrolled in the Triyoga 350-hour teacher training diploma in 2017 and has enjoyed learning from Anna Ashby and Tony Watson. She volunteers with the GoodGym and teaches Yoga for Runners workshops at the end of group runs. She also provides yoga classes for office workers.
As a local SE Londoner, Em is delighted to be teaching at Studio Kooks, offering a fun, alignment-based approach to hatha yoga, in a beautiful setting.

6.00-7.00pm Beginners' Yoga (a 5 week course) £40 for the whole course
The 5-week beginner course is an ideal way to start a yoga practice. The course will build week by week to offer the fundamentals of alignment-based hatha yoga and will focus on building both strength and flexibility. You’ll learn the basics of many yoga postures, as well as simple breath and meditation techniques. It will give you a foundation to allow you to join open level yoga classes.
