Amanda Meaden

Mandy is a warm, kind and knowledgable teacher of yoga in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. In this profound yet practical approach, the various tools of yoga (posture, breath, meditation, philosophy, visualization and sound) are adapted to meet the needs, abilities and requirements of each individual. She teaches students of all ages and stages of life and wellness and loves to see yoga empowering people to make positive change.

For Mandy yoga is an anchor in life’s river, providing a reliable link to the clarity, strength and wisdom that, to her great surprise, she has found within herself.

Mandy began practicing yoga as a child and has been teaching regularly for 12 years. Originally trained with the British Wheel of Yoga, she is qualified as an advanced teacher and yoga therapist by the former KHYF (now TSYP) and specializes in teaching one to one. Mandy is mentored by Gill Lloyd and continues to be a student. She is currently studying vedic chanting.
