Alison has been practising yoga for over 15 years and teaching across London for the last 7 years. Her intention for every class she teaches is to leave students feeling better at the end than at the beginning - more grounded, but a litttle lighter in step.
She teaches asana with a focus on healthy alignment principles, integrating movement with the natural pace of the breath to encourage and gently challenge the body's own strength, steadiness and ease to be revealed. Her approach is non-dogmatic and she holds a cheery and supportive space for all to practice.
9.30-10.30am Hatha Yoga £10 drop in
A strong + steady, breath-led, alignment-based, physical yoga practice finishing with deep and complete relaxation. Suitable for all levels as options will be given. A great way to start the day.
10.45-11.45am Gentle Yoga £10 drop in
A gentle practice suitable for those new to yoga, returning to yoga from injury or who simply want to slow things down. This practice is all about finding a way to move which feels good, creates a feeling of ease and space in the body and the mind and supports physical and mental wellbeing. All are very welcome.
10.30-11.30am Mansion Community Yoga £5 drop in
A class to celebrate the Mansion community... whether you live at the Mansion, work at the Mansion or visit the Mansion! A practice with lots of options, so suitable for all, that will leave us feeling refreshed, inspired and connected.
Fridays (next course dates TBC)
11.45-12.45pm Yoga for Beginners: a 5-week course £50
Suitable for complete non-bendy beginners, those returning to practice after a break or those who want a slower practice with a focus on alignment and key poses. Advance booking for this course is essesntial, please contact Alison at firstname.lastname@example.org for enquiries or to book your spot.
